HTML Renderer

Write HTML and CSS on the left and see the rendered page update live on the right. Your work stays in this browser.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server.

What the HTML Renderer does

An HTML renderer turns code into the page a visitor actually sees. Type HTML, and optionally CSS, in the editor and the preview redraws as you type, exactly like a browser would display it.

It is the fastest way to test a snippet before pasting it into WordPress, Shopify, or an email template, and a safe sandbox for practicing the tags from the HTML Basics course. The preview runs in an isolated frame, so nothing you write can affect this site or your computer.

How to use it

  1. Write or paste HTMLStart with the sample, or paste any snippet: a heading, a product card, a contact form, or a full page.
  2. Watch the previewThe right side updates on every keystroke. If something looks wrong, check for a missing closing tag or an unclosed quote.
  3. Add CSS to style itPut styles in a style tag at the top to try colors, spacing, and layout without touching a live site.
  4. Copy the finished codeWhen the preview looks right, copy the code into your website builder, CMS, or email tool.

Tips for better results

  • Test one change at a time. It makes broken layouts easy to trace back to the line that caused them.
  • Most rendering problems come from a closing tag that is missing or in the wrong order. Nest tags like boxes inside boxes.
  • Pair this tool with the HTML Formatter to clean up messy code first, so you can read what you are editing.

Frequently asked questions

Does my code get saved?

Your work stays in this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded, so clear the editor before using a shared computer.

Can I run JavaScript here?

The preview is sandboxed for safety, so scripts are blocked. Use it for HTML and CSS practice.

Will the preview match my website exactly?

It matches how a browser renders your code on its own. Your site’s theme may add extra styles, so the final look can differ slightly.
