Your PPC action plan

Inside this lesson

  • The three parts of a simple PPC action plan
  • How to plan budget and testing for 90 days
  • How to decide whether to scale, fix, or stop

Short answer

Your PPC action plan has three parts. A campaign checklist confirms your setup is right before launch. A budget plan sets your daily spend, monthly limit, and break-even CPA. A testing plan lists one change to try every two weeks. Review at 30, 60, and 90 days, then scale what works.

Part 2: budget plan

ItemExample
Daily budget₱500
Monthly limit (× 30.4)₱15,200
Estimated CPC₱25
Estimated clicks per month608
Expected conversion rate5%
Estimated leads per month30
Break-even CPA₱800

If your estimated CPA is above break-even, fix the landing page or offer before raising the budget. Use the calculator in Lesson 1.2 to fill in your own numbers.

Part 3: testing plan

Change one thing every two weeks, then compare:

  1. Weeks 1 to 2: launch and clean up search terms.
  2. Weeks 3 to 4: test two new headlines.
  3. Weeks 5 to 6: test a stronger offer on the landing page.
  4. Weeks 7 to 8: switch to Maximize conversions if conversions are steady.
  5. Weeks 9 to 12: expand to new keywords from the search terms report.

The 90-day decision

  • Scale: CPA is below break-even. Raise the budget by 20% every two weeks.
  • Fix: CPA is close to break-even. Improve the page, ads, or keywords.
  • Stop or rethink: CPA is far above break-even after 90 days. Try a new offer, platform, or SEO.

Quick quiz

1. Your CPA is below break-even for a month. What next?
2. How many things should you test at once?
3. When do you make the big keep-or-stop decision?

Common mistakes

  • Skipping the plan. Without targets, you cannot judge results.
  • Testing many things at once. You will not know what worked.
  • Scaling before tracking is reliable. Confirm conversions are real first.
