PPC ad copy formulas
What we will go through
- The four building blocks of strong ad copy
- Three fill-in formulas you can reuse
- Examples for Philippine businesses
Short answer
Strong PPC ad copy answers four questions fast: Is this what I searched for? Why this business? What do I get? What do I do next? Use the keyword in a headline, a unique selling point, a specific offer, and a clear call to action. Specific numbers and local details beat vague claims.
The four building blocks
- Keyword in headline: shows the searcher they are in the right place.
- Unique selling point (USP): what makes you different, like “Same-Day Service” or “DTI Registered.”
- Offer: a reason to act now, like “Free Ocular” or “₱200 Off First Booking.”
- Call to action (CTA): the next step, like “Book Now,” “Get a Quote,” or “Message Us.”
Three formulas
Formula 1: Problem, solution, action. Headlines: “Aircon Not Cold?” and “Same-Day Repair in Davao.” Description: “Licensed techs fix most units in 1 visit. Book online and pay after service.”
Formula 2: Offer first. Headlines: “₱999 Full Car Detailing” and “Quezon City Car Wash.” Description: “Interior and exterior in 2 hours. Free pickup within 5 km. Reserve your slot today.”
Formula 3: Proof and trust. Headlines: “1,200+ Students Enrolled” and “IELTS Review Center Manila.” Description: “Small classes, weekend schedules, and mock tests. Get your free study plan.”
Making copy specific
| Vague | Specific |
|---|---|

| Affordable prices | Starts at ₱499 |

Numbers, prices, and timeframes help people decide. Only claim what is true. Google’s ad policies forbid misleading claims.

Common mistakes
- Talking about yourself, not the customer. Lead with what they get.
- No call to action. Tell people what to do next.
- Copying competitor ads. You blend in instead of standing out.
- Promising what the landing page does not show. That hurts trust and conversion rate.
